Federated Charities to serve as Fiscal Sponsor
We are pleased to announce that New Hope Community Partnership, Inc. has signed a fiscal sponsorship agreement with The Federated Charities Corporation of Frederick. The fiscal sponsorship relationship will ensure that all donations made to New Hope are tax deductible while the IRS processes our application for tax-exempt status (which can take several months). Fiscal sponsorship is commonly used by new nonprofits and we are very excited to be partnering with one of Frederic County’s oldest and most trusted charities.
Federated Charities has been a pillar in the Frederick area since 1911 and has a long tradition of supporting other nonprofits.
